In early 2023, we ignited creativity and celebrated the power of education with a vibrant mural at St Philip Evans Primary School in Llanedeyrn, Cardiff. This captivating artwork, sprawling across two sides of a subway, was born from the imaginative minds of the school's pupils. Centered around the theme of children's rights and the joy of school life, the mural is a kaleidoscope of bright colours and playful geometric shapes, reflecting the students' visions of a welcoming and inspiring educational environment. Every brushstroke tells a story of friendship, learning, and community, turning an everyday space into a jubilant celebration of young voices and school values. The excitement was palpable as the children saw their ideas and messages come to life, truly making it a mural that not only decorates but resonates deeply with the hearts of its young creators.
