Child Friendly Cardiff Mural

This typographic mural was created in Cardiff Bay, positioned alongside the A4232 near the Butetown tunnel. Designed to be viewed in passing, the composition is intentionally simple, allowing it to be read quickly without distracting drivers.

The design draws on the visual language of fridge magnets, using playful typography to evoke childhood while communicating a clear message. The mural raises awareness of the Child Friendly Cardiff programme, supporting the city’s ambition to embed children’s rights across services as part of its UNICEF Child Friendly City work.
